Using this website
TERMS
OF USE.
The formal bit. Using this site means you’re fine with the following — nothing unusual for a small club’s website.
Terms of use Plain-English version
The fine
print.
This page covers the website itself. Playing at Bayside is separately governed by Pickleball Victoria affiliation requirements and whatever a session host asks on the day.

1. Acceptance
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, the simplest option is not to use the site — you can always reach us directly at info@melbournebaysidepickleball.com.au.
2. About Bayside Pickleball Club
Bayside Pickleball Club Incorporated is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit incorporated association operating out of 221 Thomas Street, Hampton VIC 3188. Nothing on this site should be read as a commercial or professional service offering.
3. Using this site
This site is here to help you find the right session, understand the club, and get in touch. Session times, levels and availability are provided as a guide — OpenSports is always the live, accurate source, so please check the current listing before you plan around it.
4. Bookings and OpenSports
Bookings, payments and live availability are handled entirely by OpenSports, a third-party platform. Using OpenSports is subject to their own terms, not ours — Bayside isn’t responsible for how that platform operates.
5. Membership applications
Submitting a membership application through this site doesn’t guarantee membership. Applications are considered individually by the club, and Pickleball Victoria (or another Pickleball Australia affiliate) membership is a hard requirement for insurance purposes.
6. Content and intellectual property
The text, photos and logo on this site belong to Bayside Pickleball Club or are used with permission. Feel free to link to us — please don’t reproduce our content, photos or badge mark elsewhere without asking first.
7. No liability for on-court risk
Pickleball, like any sport, carries a risk of injury. Playing at Bayside is always at your own risk, which is exactly why current Pickleball Victoria (or equivalent) membership and insurance is required to play. Nothing on this website is a substitute for that cover.
8. Limitation of liability
This site is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee it’s error-free, and we aren’t liable for issues arising from third-party services (like OpenSports) that this site links to.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally as the site or the club changes. The date above shows when they were last updated.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
11. Contact us
